Deadly when used as a regular surface controller, fishing a leader from it at your chosen length. They can also be fished like this for presenting dead or live baits in most areas including estuaries, surf and open water. Species you target may include, Wrasse, Mullet, Mackerel and Bass. Another good use for this item is for fishing lures over shallow or very rocky ground. You can attach one as per normal then attach a Redgill, Mepps spinner or similar on a length of leader line this system is deadly for Pollock and Bass.
